Release Submission Guide

A clean release submission helps avoid DSP delays, metadata errors and missed promotional opportunities. Please ensure all files and details are final before submission.

Before submitting

Please check that all metadata is accurate and final before sending a release. Spelling, capitalisation, artist credits, release dates and file names should match exactly how you want them displayed by DSPs where possible.

What to include

  • Final WAV audio files
  • Final release artwork
  • Artist name, release title and track titles
  • ISRCs and catalogue number, if already assigned
  • Featured artist and remixer information
  • Release date and original release date, if applicable
  • Marketing assets such as artist bio, press shots, social links and a short pitch

Lead time

Our minimum lead time is 3 weeks between submission and release date. This allows time for DSP ingestion, error checking, Spotify editorial pitching and campaign setup.

Late submissions may miss release dates, pre-save setup, pre-orders, Countdown Pages or editorial opportunities.

Audio and artwork basics

  • Audio: WAV, 16-bit, 44.1kHz, stereo
  • Artwork: minimum 3000x3000px JPG, RGB
  • Artwork must match the release title and artist details
  • Avoid logos, URLs, pricing, promotional text or poor-quality images
